Already have a domain?
You don't need to transfer it. Connect it to your plan by changing its DNS servers at your current registrar to these two:
ns1.quimeracloud.com
ns2.quimeracloud.com
The change usually takes a few hours to show up across the internet.
Which extension to choose
.com
The most recognized extension worldwide. The safe choice for a business or a brand.
.net
A good alternative if the .com you want is taken, or for tech projects.
.org
Made for foundations, associations, chambers of commerce and nonprofit projects.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need hosting to own a domain?
No. You can register just the domain and connect it later to your plan or to another service.
Can I create email addresses on my domain?
Yes, once the domain is connected to a hosting plan. Premium includes 6 accounts per domain and the other plans have no limit.
What are DNS servers?
They tell the internet where your site lives. When you point your domain to ns1.quimeracloud.com and ns2.quimeracloud.com, your website and email start working with your plan.
How long until it is active?
A new domain is registered automatically once the payment is confirmed. If you change the DNS of a domain you already own, it takes a few hours to show up across the internet.
